My arrival into this new world!

Hello, I am baby Tony and I arrived in this strange world at 12:56am on Thursday September 21st. I was aproximately 6 lbs and 1 oz and 20 inches long... that is 2750g and 51cm if you prefer those units. This is one of my very first photos:

I might not look it, but I was pretty happy to get out of my cramped space and get some room. I was a little wrinkley from 9 months of swiming and my head just got squeezed a little, but I was definatly healthy and feeling great. I did not cry or whine one bit, maybe I'm just saving that up for later.

So, after I got a few checks, shots, measurments, etc. then I put on a blanket and hat and went to say hello to mom. Can you read my lips?

And here I am posing with mom, who is also very happy and doing well. She's tired, but still gave a shot at feeding me. Thanks mom! Oh, I'm sorry I kicked you in the ribs a few times... but, I just wanted you to know I was there.

Of course, dad is very delighted and proud. We got off to some fun and games right away, say peek a boo! Actually, I'm just working on my poker face already.

Well, that is all for now. I'll come back and write more when I do something else interesting. Right now I'm just hungry and tired and I really got to figure out how to use my arms and legs and check things out in this new world. Lots to learn, so stay tuned.
