Traveling to Chicago
Today, on December 19th I will become a seasoned traveler. Yep, that is right, there was a movie called Planes, Trains, & Automobiles... well, how about car, BART, two buses, a plane, and a car again... with a little walking thrown in there too. First, here is a good story... I had to listen to mom and dad go back and forth all week on how to get to the airport. Dad was for the independent, do it yourself method and mom the more user friendly ask somebody for help method. This normally wouldn't be such a big deal either way, but you might say that we had an extrodinary amount of luggage. I've got soo many clothes that I have a whole suitcase for myself!! Needless to say, dad won out and we gave it a shot. To mom's utter amazement everything worked out and we made it there alive... with something like 7 or 8 pieces of luggage in tow. Here I am on the BART, in fact it is my first BART ride...
Oh wait, if you couldn't see me... I'm there behind some of the luggage...
Well, we finally made it to the airport and all was well. Here is my view of SFO...

The plane ride was quite nice, I slept most of the way and kept pretty quiet. I didn't get any great pictures, but here was my first glimpse of Chicago...

Grandma and Grandpa were waiting for us at O'Hare and got us home in no time. Despite the late hour, Aunt Anne, Aunt Aimee, and Uncle Mike all came over to meet me. It was quite a production, as you can see here there were at least 8 hands ready to change my diaper...
