Vancouver Aquarium
Today we wanted to do something fun, so we all decided to go to the aquarium. First things first, it was cold outside so we all got bundled up. Here is me and mom ready to go...
The aquarium was only a little over 1 mile away, but the hotel guy said it would take 35 to walk there and suggested we take the bus. Dad thought that it shouldn't take more than 20 minutes and wanted to see the town anyway, so off we went. Mom was quite cold decided to stop in an art gallery on the way. We saw some neat art, I was really interested in all the colors and strange shapes. Here is a sculpture we passed on the way..
I forgot to mention that the art gallery people were so nice, mom got caught up chatting with them and then I got hungry. Next thing you know, I'm eathing lunch in the gallery and mom is sipping water from a wine glass. And dad is standing around wondering why it is taking 2 hours to go 1 mile. But, needlees to say, we did make it there and got to see many neat fish. We started off with a beluga whale show, it was in an outdoor tank and we had to get inside when the whales were spitting at people. Here is a erie picture of me staring down some huge fish...

But, I wasn't intimidated by that fish. So I tried to stare down this emerald tree boa...

That snake really looked scared of me, it wouldn't even move... I think it was just sitting there playing dead. These jellyfish really caught my attention, they had some pretty cool colors...

Checking out all the fish was really great, but I was wondering what they were thinking. So, mom and I got in this aquarium to see things from their perspective...
