Grandma and Grandpa Arrive In Amsterdam

My Grandma and Grandpa finally arrived to visit me. I have been waiting so long to see them again. I'm sooooo happy they are here. Here I am greeting them at the meeting point in the airport and taking Grandmas carry on bag for her. Aren't they so cute? I am so proud of them that they were able to find there way to meet me there. I'll tell you though it wasn't that easy. I had to get mom and dad up and leave really early in the morning and you know how tough it is to get dad out of bed early. Then we find out the train line is under repair so we take the train as far as we can, then they transfer us to the bus to bypass the repair section and have to transfer back to the train. What an ordeal and we had to do the same thing with gram and gramps on the way back. But now they are finally here for awhile and I am really loving all the attention.

Believe it or not British Airways lost Grandma and Grandpas bags between London and Amsterdam. They had to fill out a report and won't get there bags till tomorrow. So if you see them in the pictures with the same clothes on that's why. While we were waiting for their bags to be delivered Easter Sunday we took a walk to the park and they have an Easter carnival there. Here's me mom and dad by the merry go round.

When we got back we sat down to Easter dinner. That's me having my first vegetables for Easter. What a treat!! They are imported from America too, Gram brought them. They are carrots, kinda appropriate for Easter bunnies and me too.

And finally they delivered Grandma and Grandpas bags. Now that's what I've been waiting for. You know there has got to be some new toys for me in there. Here I am playing with some and opening more that my aunt Anne sent.

I am having a great time I sure hope they are glad to be here. I am going to show them around tomorrow. I hope they can keep up. I'll let you know how it goes.
