Mothers day at the hot springs

Today is mom's day, so in the morning I got her some flowers from the farmers market. I also tried to be extra good today. And we finally made the trek to the hot springs up in the mountains. Here is mom enjoying the scene on the way...

This was the third try in 2 years trying to get there. First, there were road closures due to the fires and we also nearly ran out of gas. One other time an aunt that will remain nameless got car sick. So, I guess the third time is really a charm. Here we are dipping our feet in the hot water...
