The ultimate travel day

MWow, today was an epic travel day. I think we went on 6 trains, a bus and a plane all together.

So we started with an amazing breakfast at the hotel:

Then checking out and leaving the hotel:

Then the problems came. We took a train to hengelo, and then had to take a bus (track work). Fair enough, but I was scared mom wouldn't make it, since it reminded me of the boat in Alaska -- that is a story for another time. 

Ok the good news is, since it was so hot and dreary on the bus, they gave us some free waters when we were on the platform! However, after getting on that train, some guy decided to jump in front of the train and ruin the tracks for everyone, so we had to get off again!

Needless to say, there was tons of waiting and like five trains before we made it to Amsterdam, in fact, so much time passed that we had to go straight to the airport! A two hour directly train ride turned into a 6 hour adventure! Thank god we left so early or we would have missed the plane.

After that craziness, mom buckled and gave the the first fast food she found:

Finally, one more train ride after the flight to Geneva. Good thing I found a friend George who I told all about my baseball plays too!

After a crazy 20 min walk up hills, we made it! And mom was sweating. It was hot. And I went straight to sleep!
