1st day in Enscdede

Today was my first day in Enschede, we started off with a great breakfast. I watched mom and dad eat eggs, yogart, meats, cheeses, cereal, coffee, and most interestingly toast (with chocolate sprinkles). Then we went back to our room and got ready to head to head out, here I am wearing one of my Christmas gifts, it is a little big right now but I'll grow into it nicely and it was very warm and cozy...

We waited for the bus, but it didn't come on time so we decided to walk the 4km (yea we have to start getting used to the metric system) to downtown and get a walking tour of the area. We made it to the outdoo market which is held every Saturday and did a little shopping. We had a lunch in this really nice cafe and then it started to rain a little, so we got some umbrellas decided to head back. This time we took the bus which was really efficient. Here we are at the market...

When we got back, jet lag was setting in so we just took some long naps and will now probably be up all night. But, at least that calls for another blog update. Goodnight or morning or whatever it is!
